On Seeing

A short reflection on what it means to look at the world carefully.
Looking is not the same as seeing. We look constantly — at screens, at faces, at clocks — but seeing requires a kind of stillness that looking rarely allows.
This is what photography taught me: to stop, to wait, to let the image come to you rather than chasing it.
